Jeff Bezos has reportedly taken delivery of the Gulfstream G700, the manufacturer’s crowning jewel with a base price of $80 million. Aviation enthusiast Jack Sweeney, known for tracking the flights of high-profile figures like Elon Musk and Taylor Swift, shared on X (formerly Twitter) that Bezos’s G700, registered as N11AF under TVPX Aircraft Solutions, was delivered on July 10 and received FAA certification five days later.
Bezos’s fleet now includes two Gulfstream G650s and a Pilatus PC-24 business jet, bringing the total value of his aircraft to an impressive $200 million. The G700’s delivery follows a series of delays and marks a significant addition to the luxury aviation market, joining Qatar Airways as one of the first owners of this model. Elon Musk is also rumored to have placed an order for a G700.
The Gulfstream G700 boasts a maximum cruising speed of Mach 0.935 and an astounding transcontinental range of approximately 7,750 nautical miles. While details on how Bezos has customized his G700 remain under wraps, the jet’s configuration possibilities include five distinct living areas: a bedroom with a shower, a media zone, a spacious ultra-galley, and seating for up to 19 passengers, including 13 sleeper seats.
Gulfstream’s flagship model features the industry’s most spacious cabin at nearly 57 feet long, surpassing competitors like Bombardier’s Global 8000 and Dassault’s 10X. The G700’s cabin design integrates large oval windows, low pressurization levels, automatic lighting adjustments to reduce jet lag, state-of-the-art air filtration, and cutting-edge entertainment systems.
The G700 has already set over 50 world speed records, demonstrating its capabilities between Gulfstream’s Savannah, Georgia headquarters and various global destinations. With advanced aerodynamic wings, Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines, and an enhanced avionics flight deck, the G700 delivers superior fuel efficiency, solidifying its position as the ultimate luxury aircraft.
