His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa led the Royal team to victory in Spain at the International Endurance Championship.

Bahrain’s Royal Endurance Team claimed victory in the 120-kilometre race for both the general and junior categories, as part of the prestigious Spanish International Championship.
His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, General Sports Authority Chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, extended his warm congratulations to the team on their exceptional performance. He emphasised that this latest victory builds on the Royal Team’s previous achievements in international and European forums, and reflects the high level of excellence attained by the sport of endurance.




He also praised the role played by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and the Royal Endurance Team captain, in the team’s success. The Royal Team riders, Salman Isa, Manal Fakhrawi, and Ahmed Al Dhawadi won the top three spots, along with Abdulla Al Ruwaei who was crowned junior category champion.



HH Shaikh Khalid continued to support and motivate the other team riders to achieve positive results in both races, after performing in the first stage of the 160-kilometer contest himself.
