The International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) returned to Abu Dhabi for the second year in a row, and the event oozed glamour, charisma and raw star-power. The two-day event on the Yas Island celebrated the best in Bollywood cinema, music, and fashion.
The IIFA Rocks event kicked off the festivities with Badshah, Sunidhi Chauhan, Amit Trivedi, and Sukhbir building the musical temp to a crescendo and got the audience on their feet.
The awards night was hosted by Abhishek Bachchan with Vicky Kaushal and was full of power-packed performances led by Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan along with an impromptu one by Hrithik Roshan after he won the Best Actor award for ‘Vikram Vedha’. One of the other big winners was Alia Bhatt for ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. The film won the most awards – six in all. Sizzling sirens Nora Fatehi and Kriti Sanon alongside social media sensations – Quick Style – set the stage on fire!
