Dubai, UAE – The Lux Collective, the award-winning luxury hotel operator born in Mauritius, has announced a dynamic expansion strategy for 2025 and beyond, introducing new properties in China, Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

As part of its global growth, the Group’s purpose-driven boutique brand, SALT, will debut outside of Mauritius with the opening of SALT of Anji in China in Q2 2025. Located in the serene Anji County, known for its bamboo forests and white tea, this property will offer travelers a sustainable and immersive experience in one of China’s most preserved natural destinations.
The Lux Collective’s flagship brand, LUX*, will also make significant strides, with its first ventures into the Middle East and Southern Africa. LUX* Al Bridi and LUX* Al Jabal, set to open in Sharjah, UAE, in Q4 2025, will provide visitors a luxurious escape with a mix of cultural immersion, world-class amenities, and unparalleled access to the stunning desert landscape. LUX* is also set to debut its first hotel management agreement in Southern Africa with the launch of LUX* Xinii Mababe in Botswana. This ultra-luxury safari camp, nestled in the heart of Botswana’s wildlife-rich Mababe, promises an exclusive and sustainable safari experience that blends local heritage with modern luxury.

In Asia, LUX* will expand its footprint with two major openings in Vietnam and China. LUXNAM* Phu Quoc, Vietnam’s first overwater resort, will open in Q2 2026, offering panoramic sea views and luxurious villas in a private paradise. LUX* Guangzhou, an urban resort set amidst the skyscrapers of Guangzhou, will offer a sanctuary of calm within the city’s hustle and bustle.
