The Glamourous Henna Party

Last week Queen Rania hosted a traditional henna night for her future daughter-in-law and just by the pictures, we can see the energy and happiness radiate through!

For the event, Rajwa reportedly wore an intricate white and gold creation by HONAYDA, from her home country of Saudi Arabia. It was a two-piece Najdi dress known as the Sahabi Thoub, which was designed for the occasion, bridging the past and present.” It infused the bride’s heritage in a fully handcrafted veil and dress flourishing through 3D ornaments with a mix of silk, metallic threads, and traditional reed strings featuring the iconic palm of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,’ the designer explained on Instagram. “Seven stars are exclusively featured in the veil, symbolizing the 7-pointed Jordanian star. The veil pays homage to the couple’s eternal love story, in a famous verse of Tunisian poet Abu al-Qasim al Shabi translating the beauty of life at one’s sight”, she added.
She looked angelic, and so did Queen Rania. In a pastel blue gown by Saiid Kobeisy, a Bahraini pearl clutch, and diamond earrings, the Queen elegantly hosted the occasion, and we can’t wait to see what the Royals will wear at the wedding!

The Legendary Red Procession
The Red Procession as it is called, is a tradition in Jordan. It is expected to center stage post the wedding. The procession will feature a fleet of 20 striking red Land Rover convertibles. Fourteen of these vehicles lead the procession, while the remaining six are backups, ready to seamlessly step in if needed. This illustrious tradition dates back to 1946, to the establishment of Jordan following its independence on May 25, 1946. It holds the esteemed title of being the official Hashemite procession, accompanying the kings during momentous ceremonial events and diplomatic receptions.
Once adorned by elegant white horses, the procession, which is ridden by 71 soldiers from the Royal Guard, now boasts ten motorcycles. These proud soldiers don formal uniforms with red sashes across their chests.
The Red Procession will pass through the streets of Amman, sharing the nation’s exuberance with the Jordanian people and residents.
