There’s a new address for dessert lovers in Bahrain with the launch of YCone Paris, the stylish new patisserie at Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain. Dishing out artisanal creations, the venture is owned by world renowned French patisserie Yazid Ichemrahen.


Opened on October 7, 2024, Chef Yazid showcased his signature creations with a special demonstration to a select list of guests at YCone Paris. Acclaimed for his innovative pastries, the delicacies included ‘100% Vanilla’ – a unique pastry made with the finest vanilla sourced from three distinct regions across the world. Guests were treated to a display of his culinary mastery, where he adorned the pastry with original gold foil with expert technique, while also inviting them to try their hand at it.
‘The Black Forest’ is a visual masterpiece, shaped like a cherry, and filled with a deep rich chocolate core with cherry compote. Another delectable sweet treat is ‘The Valentino’ – a chocolate mousse with a gooey heart.
Each creation by Chef Yazid is flawlessly sculpted, combining the traditional pastry-making heritage with modern techniques. The hallmark of the chef’s culinary creations is his artistic presentation that enhances the appetizing tastes.
