Škoda Auto Expands in Oman to Capture Middle Eastern Market
Škoda Auto has officially entered Oman, marking a major milestone in its Middle Eastern expansion strategy. This move strengthens Škoda’s presence beyond its European home market and taps into the growing demand for European automotive brands in the region. The company has partnered with Premium Motors, part of the Alfardan Group, to introduce a diverse line-up of European-built ICE vehicles, including spacious sedans and various SUVs. The new showroom in Muscat offers an immersive, fully digital experience that reflects Škoda’s modern approach to customer service.

Škoda’s new Omani showroom features advanced digital tools, including an interactive configurator and a unique motorsport corner, emphasizing the brand’s rich racing history. It also houses a dedicated service center with eight work bays to ensure comprehensive aftersales support. As Škoda looks to the future, it plans to open three additional showrooms and service centers across Oman by 2029. This commitment positions Škoda to offer tailored solutions to local customers, including models like the Kodiaq seven-seater and the Kushaq compact SUV, imported from India.
Škoda Aims for Significant Growth in Oman’s Automotive Market
Oman’s automotive market presents substantial growth opportunities due to its expanding economy and increasing demand for high-quality, value-for-money vehicles. With approximately 300 vehicles per 1,000 inhabitants, Oman ranks as the fifth-largest automotive market in the region. Škoda plans to build on this potential, aiming for 10,000 annual deliveries in the Middle East. The launch in Oman marks the brand’s long-term commitment to the region and a step closer to offering a full range of electric vehicles in the future.
