His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Authority for Sports, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, has arrived in France for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, which will continue until August 11. Joining him on this significant occasion are His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of the General Sports Authority; His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Khalid Al Khalifa; His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa; and His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman Askar, CEO of the General Sports Authority.



Upon their arrival, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and his delegation were warmly received by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Olympic Committee and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to France; His Excellency Mr. Issam Abdulaziz Al-Jassim; and His Excellency Mr. Faris Mustafa Al-Kooheji, Secretary-General of the Olympic Committee.



In a statement following his arrival, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed his delight at attending this prestigious global sporting event. He underscored the importance of supporting Bahraini athletes competing in the Olympics and highlighted the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to enhancing its presence on the international sports stage.
His Highness also commended the efforts of the Paris 2024 organizing committee, expressing his confidence in the success of this year’s Games. He extended his best wishes to all participating national teams, hoping for a successful and memorable Olympic experience for all.
