In the run up to the WEC 8 Hours of Bahrain, held on November 1 and 2, 2024; the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) will host a Pit Lane Walk and Autograph Session for fans
An unmissable opportunity, the WEC 8 Hours of Bahrain presents fans an exclusive chance to get up close with some of the biggest names in motorsport. The Pit Lane Walk enables fans to get close to the WEC teams and their cars in their respective garages. Former F1 Champion Jenson Button, MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi, and top drivers Nyck de Vries and Sebastien Buemi will be available for autographs and photos.
The Pit Lane Walk and Autograph Session are part of the race day programme on Saturday, held before the race kicks off at 2PM. All fans with tickets to the race will be able to partake in the fan-engagement activities free of cost.
Additionally, there is a whole bouquet of fun events and activities for everyone at BIC. Enjoy the thrill of racing virtually with racing simulators. And test your hand-eye co-ordination with Batak – a game played by professional racers to develop their reflexes. A classic car show at the premises gives you the chance to admire some vintage beauties. And kids get to enjoy at entertaining shows, the Ferris Wheel, and ‘Space Jam’ – a new legacy experience.
A packed 36-car grid, featuring some the finest racing drivers and their teams will put on a terrific spectacle at the WEC 8 Hours of Bahrain. A slew of hypercars and LMGT3 (Le Mans Grand Touring Cars) competitors will go head-to-head at the Sakhir circuit.
The hypercar entries include Cadillac Racing, Hertz Team JOTA, BMW M Team WRT, Alpine Endurance Team, Lamborghini Iron Lynx, and Peugeot TotalEnergies. On the other hand, the LMGT3 category will be making its debut at BIC.
Date: The WEC 8 Hours of Bahrain is on November 1 and 2. The Pit Lane Walk and Autograph Session will be held on November 2, Saturday.
