Prestigious British jewellery house Garrard presented a powerful and daring vision with their new ‘Haute Joaillerie’ line ‘Couture’.
Just like a bespoke gown, each Couture jewel is unique, showcasing a dynamic and bold mix of colours, stones and silhouettes with the same exquisite attention to detail and finish as a couturier.

Inspiring avant-garde ways of wearing high jewellery, Couture was launched at the Kensington Palace in the UK with a series of spectacular suites – Amazonia, Desert Rose, Northern Lights and Mustique.

In the Desert Rose suite, a collection of rare morganites were sourced and re-cut specifically for the design. The morganites are framed by mother-of pearl inlay, its shimmering hue accentuating the intense, peach-pink tone of the stones. Selected for their uniqueness, other statement stones include bicolour tourmalines that softly graduate from green to pink and a buf-top tourmaline that revels in its beauty in a setting designed to showcase the gem in a 360-degree fashion. Cabochon aquamarines, meanwhile, create a completely different effect from the traditional faceted aquamarines they are paired with.
In the Northern Lights suite – Garrard worked with stone-cutting experts to craft the finest opals, pairing them with a bicolour mother of pearl that transitions from white to gold and multi-coloured sapphires to mirror the play of colour within the opals.

Garrard has a long history of association with the British Royal family and the crown jewels as the very first Crown Jewellers. From Queen Mary’s consort crown to the Princess of Wales’ engagement ring, Garrard has been a part of some of the most iconic jewels for almost 300 years.
The high jewellery launch is accompanied by a campaign entitled RULE, inspired by Garrard’s royal heritage. Shot in a sumptuous palace setting, ‘Rule’ is a playful and modern take on the aristocratic life.
