The Royal Collection Shop has released a new pink gin to coincide with King Charles’ coronation on May 6th.
The Royal Windsor Pink Gin has a botanical recipe that seems quite interesting. The gin is flavored with pink peppercorn, cassia bark, orange peel, and rose petal, in addition to the expected juniper. Raspberries are harvested directly from the grounds of the Royal Estate in Windsor will be infused into the beverage to provide flavor and colour.
This gin is best served over muddled raspberries in a martini glass and topped off with pineapple juice.
In the past, the Royal Collection has also had the Buckingham Palace Dry Gin, made using botanicals from the royals’ verdant gardens, and a Sloe Gin version that was infused with, naturally, sloe berries.
It is available to order right now on the Royal Collection website. If you manage to get your hands on it, do let us know how it tastes.
