The world-renowned Japanese restaurant opened its latest branch in Bahrain, offering diners luscious flavours in an artistic space with spectacular views
The globally renowned Japanese restaurant Sumosan has officially opened its doors to lovers of Japanese food in Bahrain. Located at the Address Beach Resort in Marassi Al Bahrain, the restaurant features contemporary Japanese food set in an inviting ambiance.

Present in nine locations around the world, Sumosan offers diners its signature Japanese cuisine augmented by its cordial hospitality. Famous for its combination of traditional and modern selections, its Bahrain menu features new additions for the Kingdom’s perceptive diners. Led by head chef Isakov Abdula, highlights include the appetising Japanese home-baked milk bread wagyu fillet Sando, which is a reformulation of traditional comfort food.
The 24-hour miso-marinated black cod accords a delightful harmony of flavours, while the Salmon furikake crispy sushi rice pizza puts an innovative twist to conventional Japanese creations. Wasabi prawns served with golden mango and passion fruit salsa, and Tuna and Truffle Roll are other delectable dishes in the menu.

Sumosan Bahrain greets diners with a private dining room, a chic bar lounge, and a terrace offering stunning sea views. The restaurant also lends an art experience in collaboration with RAK Art Foundation. Every few months, works of Bahraini artists will be showcased in a rotating exhibition at its private dining room. The first display is by the noted Bahraini artist and founder of RAK Art Foundation, Shaikh Rashid Al Khalifa.
