Pagani Automobili has unveiled a masterpiece of automotive ingenuity and bespoke design – the Huayra Epitome. This one-off creation is the only Huayra with a manual transmission. It was meticulously crafted by the marque’s Grandi Complicazioni division, responsible for special projects, it pushes the boundaries of hypercar performance, prestige, and customisation.
A discerning client, seeking the ultimate Huayra experience, commissioned the Epitome. This “grand complication,” a term borrowed from intricate watchmaking (Grandi Complicazioni translates to “grand complications”), reflects meticulous attention to detail. Pagani poured nine months into engineering and ten months into perfecting the design to deliver this bespoke masterpiece.
Lorenzo Kerkoc, Head of Pagani Grandi Complicazioni, emphasises the collaborative spirit that birthed the Epitome. “The client came to us with a clear vision,” says Kerkoc, “He craved a unique expression of the Huayra, one that would elevate its performance while retaining its innate elegance.” Kerkoc elaborates on the collaborative process, “The creation of each Grandi Complicazioni hypercar necessitates close collaboration with the customer, who essentially co-creates their dream vehicle.” Months of brainstorming and meticulous design work culminated in this singular masterpiece.
The Epitome of Pagani Technology

The Huayra Epitome boasts a heart-pounding Pagani V12 engine, churning out a staggering 864 HP (635 kW) at 6,000 rpm. This AMG-built, twin-turbocharged masterpiece, meticulously tuned to Pagani’s specifications, pushes the redline to a thrilling 6,700 rpm. But the true innovation lies beneath the hood – the Epitome is the first and only Huayra equipped with a manual transmission, a dream come true for purists seeking a pure mechanical driving experience. A Pagani by Xtrac seven-speed gearbox efficiently transfers the engine’s power to the road, ensuring an exhilarating and responsive ride.
Pagani hasn’t neglected ride comfort either. The Epitome features a new active suspension system with a “super soft” mode, activated by a conveniently located button, ideal for conquering rough roads. This focus on comfort highlights Pagani’s commitment to a holistic driving experience, encompassing both performance and comfort.
Further enhancing performance, the Epitome utilizes a lightweight six-way titanium exhaust system, producing a symphony of sound that intensifies with the press of a dedicated “four-exhaust” button. The forged aluminium alloy wheels, meticulously designed for optimal performance and safety, showcase Pagani’s dedication to cutting-edge engineering.

Pure Elegance Meets Aerodynamic Prowess
The Epitome’s design embodies a fusion of pure elegance and aerodynamic efficiency. Custom-made elements distinguish this one-off masterpiece, a hallmark of Grandi Complicazioni projects. The all-new front and rear bumpers, redesigned hood with exclusive light clusters, and a rear hood with integrated wing are just a few examples of the bespoke design elements that elevate the Epitome into a work of art.
The redesigned front bumper with an integrated splitter reflects the client’s desire for increased downforce. Wider air intakes enhance airflow, optimizing cooling and aerodynamic efficiency. The lighting system is another unique touch – the Epitome features four light units on the front hood and two DRL elements on the bumper, ensuring both exclusivity and improved lighting performance.
The rear of the car has been completely redesigned to integrate a stunning wing, a fusion of art and science. This aerodynamic element, inspired by the Huayra R, not only enhances performance but also elevates the car’s aesthetics. A new aerodynamic cover for the rear lights further reduces airflow resistance, contributing to the car’s aggressive and unique look.
