The dust has settled on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival as we take stock and look forward to the next year – here are some of our favourite, most eye-catching looks from the iconic film festival
Captivating the crowd as always is Supermodel Bella Hadid in an archival halterneck dress was broken up into two tones of black, crafted from different materials. The diamond-shaped bodice was made from a sheer black layered silk tulle that cinched Hadid tightly at the waist. The floor-length skirt—which featured a vertical stripe pattern made of alternating strips of embroidered black sequins and black beads—flowed off her hips.
Another supermodel from another era who lit the red carpet on fire was Eva Herzigova in a Saint Laurent gown and Chopard high jewellery.
A Cannes favourite was Diane Kruger in Atelier Versace and Chopard
Meanwhile, international supermodel Coco Rocha made a stunning appearance wearing the exquisite Cheney Chan Private No.076 high fashion. The sophisticated attire, inspired by the calla lily, perfectly accentuated her innate elegance and unrestrained personality, capturing the attention of numerous photographers
Milan-based supermodel Mitchell Akat wore Medusa on Cannes Film Festival 2024 red carpet!
I think it would be fair to say that when we think of Medusa, we think of Versace, but this look, which is titled ‘Wrath of Medusa’ was designed by Harvey Cenit.
The original design was presented during season three of ‘Fashion Factor’ with a gold-fringed skirt and gold cape, however, revamping the bodice with the black velvet cape ensured Mitchell’s look had a more modern outlook on this red carpet.
The gold cape was giving early ‘80s vibes.
And of course, we had the evergreen Demi Moore looking as fresh as a daisy in a custom Loewe for the 2024 amfAR Gala in Cannes and dripping in Chopard jewels!
