If the beautiful artistic design does not give it all away, let us break it to you… animal protection is the inspiration for the new Haute Horlogerie creation.
With this one-of-a-kind creation, Chopard showcases its ability to create one of the most delicate timepieces.
As a tribute to BirdLife International, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary, the enameller has painted a dial featuring a delicate Pallas’s Rosefinch, using the Grand Feu enameling technique. The timepiece, with an ultra-thin case measuring 35 millimetres in diameter and crafted in ethical 18-carat white gold, was revealed on April 18th by Chopard Co-President Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, in the presence of the Honorary President of BirdLife International, Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado of Japan, at a luxurious cocktail party at the Swiss Ambassador’s residence hosted by David Braun, Swiss Charge d’Affaires ad interim.

Proceeds from the sale of this one-off timepiece will be donated to the BirdLife International Japan Fund for Science, established to commemorate Princess Takamado’s 15th anniversary as the Honorary President of BirdLife International.
BirdLife International and Chopard have been partners since 2019. The proceeds from its sale will go to the BirdLife International Japan Fund for Science program, which Princess Takamado started within the organization to assist scientific analysis and the analysis of threats to endangered bird species and their future.
