Launched on January 23, 2023, the New High Collection Histoire de Style, Like a Queen from Boucheron is inspired by the Boucheron aquamarine and diamond double clip brooch that the late Queen Elizabeth II received on her 18th Birthday from her family.
With that brooch in mind, Claire Choisne, Creative Director of Boucheron, decided to curate an intricate collection that caters to anyone, regardless of their gender.
“Three years ago, when I first immersed myself in the Boucheron archives to imagine this collection, I couldn’t get my mind off that Art Deco double clip brooch” explains Claire Choisne, Creative Director. “The severity and geometry of the Art Deco design, tempered by the softness and light blue hue of the aquamarines, always fascinated me. I was touched by the sentimental value of this double clip, which Queen Elizabeth II wore at pivotal moments in her reign.”
Each piece of jewellery serves as a timeless piece just like the icon who first wore it.
